Paris – February 1^st, 2022 - Qadran, the Franco-Qatari economic circle, is pleased to announce the appointment of Omer Acar as its new President.

Omer succeeds Frédéric Gossot, who left his position as Regional Manager Europe West of Qatar Airways, and subsequently resigned from the presidency of Qadran. During his tenure, Frédéric has fully contributed to Qadran’s growth and success, and the association wishes to thank him for his commitment as President since 2020.

Qadran Founding members gathered on December 13^th, 2021 to elect the new President. Omer Acar, Managing Director Europe and Americas of Katara Hospitality was unanimously appointed and accepted the mandate.

Omer, boasting 20 years’ worth of experience in the international luxury hospitality sector, participated in the creation of Qadran in 2015 and previously held the presidency of the association for several years. Omer was also the very first President of the Circle, contributing to building the foundations of Qadran. Today, he has accepted to serve Qadran once again, bringing the economic cooperation to another level.

Bruno Courtine, Associate Lawyer of Vaughan Avocats, will be supporting Omer Acar in ensuring Qadran’s future success. General Secretary of Qadran since the creation of the association, Bruno has been appointed Vice President, alongside Omer.
