{Look back at the Travel & Tech webinar organised by Qadran} 🇶🇦 🌍

On Thursday 29 September, members of the Economic Circle and many other guests were offered the opportunity to attend the webinar entitled "Qatar, the new hub of digital nomadism", under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Ali Bin Jassim Al Thani and Qadran's Chairman, Mr. Omer Acar.
This pioneering webinar brought together many personalities from the travel and technology industry, including Ms Masahel Al-Hammadi from the Qatar Ministry of Tourisme and Communication, Mr Andrew Humphries, CEO of Katar Hospitality, Mr Bobby Demri, founder of ROCH Venture infestent fund and Margaux Constantin, Middle East specialist at McKinsey & Company. It was an excellent occasion to underline Qatar's pre-eminent role in these two sectors and to discuss various topics related to different fields. 💻

In a dynamic and constructive exchange, the speakers drew a picture of the exponential development of digital nomadism over the last few years. At a time when our ways of life are evolving with new approaches to work and travel, Qatar, like other countries around the world, has great potential to meet the expectations of this community in search of #bleisure destinations. 🗺
With a prospect of 1 billion Digital Nomads by 2035 worldwide, digital nomadism is a phenomenon that opens up a vast field of possibilities to a multitude of sectors (transport, hotels, banking...)

This trend is perfectly in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, underlining the immense opportunities that these transformations open up for new destinations.📈🔝
